PATIENT A

This patient attended with severe erosion and attrition of upper and lower teeth. Figure 1

A satisfactory result was obtained by:

• Extracting upper several teeth, providing root fillings and gold copings on the remaining upper teeth and provision of an upper denture. Figure 2 & Figure 3

• The lower teeth were simply built up with white filling material with very little drilling.

At our surgery we can give you much more detailed and explanation and advice about treatments but patients are encouraged to do their own research on the internet as well.

PATIENT B

This patient attended with severe erosion and attrition of upper and lower teeth. Figure 4

A satisfactory result was achieved in 2 hours by simply gluing white fillings to his teeth without any drilling whatsoever. Figure 5

PATIENT C

This patient attended with a tooth missing, worn down teeth and “chapping at the corners of his mouth”. Figure 6

This treatment involved opening the height of his teeth by placing crowns, veneers and bridgework. Increasing the height of his bite also stretched the corners of his mouth and stopped the “chapping”.Figure 7
