Dentures
There are:
- Full dentures (metal or plastic) for people with no teeth
- Partial dentures (metal or plastic) for people with some teeth
There are also the much “firmer” and more stable but more expensive dentures such as:
- Precision attachment dentures
- Telescopic dentures using konus crowns
- Implant retained dentures
- Magnetic retained dentures
Dentures can be highly cosmetic depending on which make of teeth are chosen
Old dentures can be worn-out or contaminated which can lead to soreness and fungal infections at the corners of your mouth
